The 2022 Event Calendar has Launched!

The day we’ve been waiting for is here, the event calendar is published, and applications are OPEN! You can now begin to plan out your summer!

How to apply

Log into your DCSS PAAM profile and simply use the the “apply” tab. Remember, our dedicated office team check all profiles once you make an application to ensure that there is no missing information before marking them as approved. Any application made by an approved profile will automatically be ready to be accepted. If your profile is missing any vital information, don’t worry, we’ll get in contact to give you the head’s up. Just bear in mind that the approved profiles shuffle up the queue above the unapproved ones!

How long will you have to wait?

We won’t start assigning applications for a few weeks to first gauge how many applications come through, and secondly to give everyone a fair chance to get their calendar organised. In the meantime, we absolutely do welcome any contact from yourselves when it comes to chasing up the progress of your application.

Special requests?

If you’d like to work alongside a friend this is usually fine, but we suggest first communicating with your friends to make sure they do apply. The next step is to contact admin by email so that we have a trail of this request and can log this for approval. The same goes for requesting to work a specific shift or on a specific team. We’ll run through these requests when it comes to assigning crew into teams and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone.  If you have your eyes on two separate events which happen to overlap by a day or two, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

Is there more to come?

This is the preliminary event calendar, and as more events and festivals are added we’ll be sure to let you know! Let’s go!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
